Greetings Art Supporter!!
Thanks to everyone who donated yesterday and for making this first fundraising event a success!!  The BCAC generated $3,675.00 from 31 donors and made many new friends on facebook as a part of the Give to the Max event.  The funds we generated during Give to the Max day will now be added to a $10,000 pledge that the BCAC received to go towards the Education Rooms in the new art center!
We are proud of our community for stepping up and for making our first Give to the Max day so successful.  I would also like to thank our Board Member Deborah Jensen who helped set up our BCAC Twitter account and was tweeting during the day to keep everyone updated!
GiveMN raised over $16 million dollars with over 53,000 people donating to 4381 organizations during Give to the Max Day!!  You were a part of that!
Once again, thank you for your generous donation and for your support!  It means the world to us that you chose to give on this special day!
Sincerely,
BCAC Board of Directors and Staff

As you many of you know, the Bemidji Community Art Center is making a difference every day as an arts cornerstone in Northern Minnesota! It is a hub of artistic creativity, educational experience and regional partnership, which brings a unique and significant cultural focus to the area.  Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in our community by nurturing, exhibiting and promoting the visual arts. Your generosity as a member has always been important to us and, as we plan the next 40 years for the art center, your additional support is needed now more than ever.

By partnering with GiveMN—an online giving website for Minnesota nonprofits—the BCAC will have many opportunities to maximize your gift during the upcoming Give to the Max Day just one week from today.  Please consider participating and telling your friends about this drive.

As a special kick-off for our fundraiser, we have received a $10,000 pledge towards the future Education Rooms in the new Art Center.  Our goal for November 15th is to match this donation dollar for dollar turning that $10,000 pledge into $20,000 and we’re counting on your help!

Join us on November 15, Minnesota’s Give to the Max Day, and help us win 1 of 25 – $1,000 Golden Tickets.  (A donation to a nonprofit will be chosen randomly each hour to win an extra $1,000 for that organization!)

Plan ahead!  Maybe you’re out of town or in meetings all day. Maybe you have other events scheduled that day… No problem!  Schedule your donation online now and it’s done.  If you think there’s even a chance that you’ll forget to participate in giving on the 15th, you can schedule your donation now and breathe a sigh of relief.

Along with potential to win a $1,000 Golden Ticket, we will also be eligible at the end of Give to the Max Day, to receive a $10,000 Super-sized Golden Ticket!  Help us increase our odds by making your gift on November 15 by visiting us at BCAC at GiveMn.org!

Donate once, donate often but make sure you donate on November 15! Like us on Facebook  http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bemidji-Community-Art-Center/129551977064556?bookmark_t=page   so you can share in the excitement of the giving day and remember to give November 15.

Sincerely,

Lori Forshee-Donnay

Executive Director of the BCAC
