The BCAC is pleased to announce the Jim and Marilyn Heltzer are this year’s recipients of the 2011 Friend of the Arts Award.
Starting back in 1989 with our first honoree Helen Gill, the very first Friend of the Arts Award was presented. Since then this annual event has continued a long standing tradition of acknowledging those in our community who have been an inspiration to the community and committed to the arts. We are honored to add Jim and Marilyn to this list of distinguished community members. To read more about the event and past recipients go to our Friend of the Arts page.
The BCAC would like to thank WoodsEdge Senior Living Campus for hosting the 2011 Friend of the Arts Celebration and to First National Bank of Bemidji for their support of the BCAC and the Friends of the Arts Celebration.
The BCAC would like to express our gratitude to writer Patt Rall, photographer Monte Draper and artist John Holden, for their assistance in recognizing our Friend of the Arts honorees. We would also like to thank Natalie Roholt and Patrick Riley for their annual donation to the event.
