The nominee for the Friend of the Arts award should be a living person (or couple) who has given generously of time and effort to promote the arts in the greater Bemidji area. Please provide specific and detailed information; attaching additional material to this form if needed. Do not assume that the selection committee knows anything about your nominee. Be very detailed in describing their achievements. We encourage you to gather several letters of support for your nominee from other organizations or community members.
Nominations must be received at the Bemidji Community Art Center (426 Bemidji Ave, Bemidji, MN 56601) by no later than April 14th, 2010. A committee composed of members of the BCAC Board of Directors and volunteers will select the recipient of the award for this year following the deadline. The public will be informed of the selection committee’s choice by May 1st and an event to honor the new Friend of the Arts recipient will be held in May at the Headwaters School of Music and Art.
