The BCAC is closed Dec 21, 2008 through February 5th, 2009

  • February 6 – 28  Annual Members Show
  • March 6 – 28 – “The Palette: Exploring the media of painting”. Works by BSU professor Natalia Himmirska and her students will be in the encaustic and other media of canvas and panel. 
  • April 3-25 – The Ninth Annual Area High School Invitational
  • May 1 – 16 – The 5th Grade Invitational
    Art Center is Closed May 17th to June 4th will reopen on the 5th.
  • June 5- through August 1st - “NEW WORK” an exhibit featuring work by Marlon Davidson, Butch Holden, Jay Jones, Marley Kaul, Don Knudson and Vivienne Morgan.
  • July 18 – 19th – The 42nd Annual Art in the Park Fine Art & Craft Fair.  Join us for the Centennial Celebration - Celebrating 100 years of the Historic Carnegie Building during Art in the Park weekend featuring live performances by “In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre” and other activities for the whole family!
  • Aug 7th – 29th -”REVEAL” – an intimate exhibit of photography by John Bauer and audio by Heidi Holton featuring individuals from Itasca County.
  • Sept 4th to Oct 24th – :”Unique Vision”  – Landscape photos from Utah, Wyoming and Minnesota by Jon Heller
  • Oct 2nd – First Friday Reception Spoken Word Event featuring Marsh Muirhead – “The Long and the Short of It – It’s all about the Words”.
  • Nov 6th – Dec 19 – the 7th Annual It’s Only Clay National Juried Ceramics Competition and Exhibit  featuring Richard Bresnahan, 2009 Juror.
