Final Call for Ceramic Artists for the 10th Annual It’s Only Clay National Juried Ceramics Competition and Exhibit.

IOC is dedicated to functional clay vessels and open to artists 18 years or older in the United States. All work must be functional ceramics. Submitted works must be original and produced after January 2011. All entries must value $500 or less. $30 for 3 entries. We are accepting applications with the postmark deadline September 5th, 2012. This year’s juror is Robert Briscoe.
Prize money for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded equaling $1,600.00 along with purchase awards for Margaret Harlow Vessel Collection at Bemidji State University. The exhibit for juried selections for IOC 2012 will be November 2nd thru December 22nd. Opening reception will be on Friday November 2nd from 5 to 7pm.

Please Note: This years workshop and lecture will be hosted at BSU as a part of the Minnesota Potters: Sharing the Fire – touring exhibit. BSU Talley Gallery Exhibit Dates are Oct 8th – November 16th. A workshop with Robert Briscoe will be held on October 17th, 2012. For more information on Sharing the Fire tour .
