- Bemidji Community Art Center – “Printmaking Defined” – Woodcut Relief Prints by Eugene Dalzotto, 1949 to 1961 including work by printmaker and curator, Jason Clark. This exhibit features many works never seen before along with the tools and information about this ancient form of printmaking. Curator Jason Clark will be featured in Gallery X-2. The exhibit runs now through September 1st.
- Cabin Coffeehouse and Café – is pleased to present April Azure a local artist native to Puposky, displaying her portraiture for the first time. Meet the Artist reception on Friday August 3rd from 4 to 6 pm. Refreshments will be served!
- Dunn Bros Coffee – presents “Pieces of Paul, Bits of Babe” by Barb Meuers. Join us on Aug 3rd form 5 to 7pm for Barb’s opening reception
- Gallery North – Open House from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. The Bemidji Area Woodcarvers group will be the Showcase Artists for the month of August, Featured Artists – Mary Morton, Mary Knox-Johnson and Marion Caroline – book signing, artists demos, refreshments.
- Glazed & Amused presents work by painter and Bemidji native Mike Mohler – the featured artist for August. Meet and Greet with Mike on Friday August 3rd starting at 5pm.
- Neilson Place – The Neilson Place Art Committee presents “We All Love Paul” for Paul and Babe’s 75th anniversary now through October.
- Rail River Folk School – Presents Art and Music for First Friday!
- Rail River’s featured artist for August featured is Malisa Van Maasdam – Northwoods Folk Collective Open Stage Sign-up: 6:30-7:30; performance begins at 7:30
- NEW VENUE!! Ravenrock Gallery of Fine Jewelry and Art joins the First Friday Art Walk in conjunction with their Grand Opening with an event from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday August 3. Stop by to meet some of the Artists of Studio 10 and enjoy refreshments and hors dourves during the reception.
- Wild Hare Bistro and Coffeehouse presents “Moods & Foods” - a collaboration by The Artists of Studio 10 from 3:00-5:00pm. After the Art Walk, experience Wild Hare’s own culinary artists at the First Friday Wine Bar, 5:00-9:00pm.
