First Friday Art Walk Openings in Bemidji for June 2012
- Bemidji Community Art Center invites you to their June First Friday Art Walk and opening reception on June 1st from 5 to 7 pm featuring the “Confabrications” – an exhibit by the Northern Minnesota Craftswomen.
- Brigid’s Cross Irish Pub is pleased to welcome a new artist collective for the month of June. Members of the First City Artists invite the community to meet the personalities behind the art after 5 pm “wine and nibbles reception” begins at 7pm. Also on Friday – Brigid’s Cross welcomes back the Celtic Rock band, Lehto & Wright.
- Dunn Bros Coffee – presents Alex Deme and Emily Wendland for the June First Friday Art Walk. Join us on June 1st from 5 to 7 pm.
- Gallery North – stop by from 2:00 to 5:00 for our First Friday Art Walk Open House featuring Showcase ArtistDuWayne Schwindt and Featured Artist Monie Martin. Gallery North First Friday reception will also recognize two new members Cheryl Camenisch and Carol Hoyum.
- Headwaters School of Music and Arts- presents exhibit of works by the Artists of Studio 10 from 3 to 5pm to enjoy refreshments and meet the artists.
- Rail River Folk School – presents Alice Blessing as their artist for June featuring a retrospective showcasing past and present works Friday June 1st from 5pm to 7pm. After the reception, stay for the Northwoods Folk Collective open mic starting at 7pm.
- Wild Hare Bistro and Coffeehouse will present the photography of Aaron Tank June 1st through 30th. Join us for the opening reception on First Friday June 1st, from 3:00-5:00 pm. After the Art Walk, experience Wild Hare’s own culinary artists at the First Friday Wine Bar, 5:00-9:00 pm, featuring a Syrian inspired menu.

- Neilson Place – The Neilson Place Art Committee presents work by Bemidji area visual artists Kathy Gustafson and Pat Shough in a combined show entitled: “Flora and Fauna”. “Flora and Fauna” will be on display until the end of June. Neilson Place is located at 1000 Anne St. NW, Bemidji.
